Privacy

prayth.is is designed to be private by default. We don't require an account, sign-in, or personal information to use the service.

What we store

When you create a prayer, we store the text you submitted and the generated prayer. Every prayer gets a unique link that only you can share. Prayers are unlisted by default — they do not appear in any public feed unless you explicitly opt in.

What we don't store

We don't collect your name, IP address, or location. We use a randomly generated browser identifier to make the support button behave correctly — so you can't accidentally pray for the same prayer twice. This identifier never leaves your browser except for that purpose.

Email

If you choose to sign up for daily prayers, we store your email address to send you that content. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Third parties

We use OpenAI to generate prayers. Your submission is sent to their API to produce the response. We use SendGrid to send emails if you sign up. We use Neon as our database host and Vercel for hosting.

Deleting your prayer

You can delete any prayer you've created from the "my prayers" page in your browser. This removes the prayer and associated data from our database.
